Therefore, we would like to inform you of how your personal data are processed and how you are able to exchange such data with other projektwerk users.
Generally, you can visit projektwerk without leaving personal data. However, in some cases, we need such data from you, for example:
- for signing up an account
- for entering a premium account
- for publishing projects and profiles
- for applying for projects
- for contacting other projektwerk users
For this reason, you need to register for the use of such services and make personal data available to us. This includes, for example, your name, your contact data, information concerning your company (as the case may be) and (for the profiles) information concerning your services, your references, etc.
All data that you have transmitted to us are naturally handled with confidentiality. Outside of the business purpose, we generally do not make your data available to third parties for their use, unless the transmission serves the purpose of brokering business contacts, or we are obligated to divulge such data, for example based on a court order. All projektwerk employees, subcontractors and partners have been trained to protect the confidentiality of the data. As such, projektwerk is obligated to observe statutory data protection regulations, particularly the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, "BDSG") and the German Act on Data Protection for Telemedia Services (Telemediengesetz).
We use the personal data that you submit upon registration for the generation of business contacts, for internal administration, for newsletter subscriptions and for sending information material. projektwerk generally does not make data available to third parties for their use and also does not sell the data to third parties.
Your first name and surname as well as your published contact data are forwarded to other projektwerk members only within the framework of the generation of contacts (applications, direct contacting).
Your login data remain secret at all times.
Profile and Project Data
projektwerk permits the creation of profiles and projects. Profiles and projects can contain individual-related data, such as, for example, name, address, professional experience, references, etc.
Please consider the fact that, after publication of your profile or project, your profile or project data will become visible to all other projektwerk members, will be searchable on the Internet through search engines and will be ascertainable, although shortened, on partner platforms in order to increase your accessibility for potential business partners. As such, please make sure to render anonymous individual-related data (e.g., names) within your profile in the projektwerk profile form and in file uploads, etc., if you do not desire that such files are able to be viewed.
Security of Your Data
projektwerk undertakes all efforts to protect your data against unauthorized access. With the assistance of a system of access authorizations and technical protection measures, such as SSL encryption, the greatest possible data security is ensured. At projektwerk, the entry of your registration data, your account data, your profile data and all data for establishing contact with other users takes place only after switching over to a specially secure SSL connection.
