Since 1999, projektwerk allows the fast and efficient staffing of projects and jobs as well as self-marketing for freelance experts and those looking for permanent employment. projektwerk provides specific platforms for the following industries: IT, consulting, creative, engineering, medical and fashion.

•        How can I edit my contact information?

Click "Settings" -> "Contact information" and enter the desired information. Within your account settings, you can select how other members can contact you. Checkmark the appropriate boxes to choose the specific contact details that you want to be visible for other members.

•        Which languages does projektwerk support?

You can set projektwerk to German or English. Your current browser settings will determine the platform´s language. The project, job and profile contents are not affected by your browser settings and will continue to appear in the language in which they were created by the user.

Registration and membership

•        Why do I need to register?

Your registration enables you to create and publish your own project or job offer or profile and take advantage of the matching service.

•        Can I use all projektwerk industry platforms with my registration or do I have to register separately?

Your log in data is valid for all projektwerk industry platforms. If you wish to use more than one industry platform, the desired industries will be activated with your login.

•        Which membership types are available on projektwerk?

projektwerk offers a free introductory basic membership with the basic functionality, a starter membership with limited functionality starting at 8 € per month and a premium membership with the full functionality starting at 25 € per month. The monthly membership fee guarantees cost control since no further costs are incurred. projektwerk does not charge commission. For more information please view “Membership & Prices”.

•        When does my premium membership begin?

After booking your starter or premium membership, you can immediately use all projektwerk features of this membership type.

•        I need several accounts for my company. Is there a special account for companies?

For more than one account on projektwerk we offer special conditions. Please do not hesitate to contact us to get more information.

•        Do I have to pay the full starter or premium membership fee for every platform?

If you wish to acquire starter or premium memberships for additional platforms, you will receive a 50% booking discount on the second projektwerk platform and a 75% discount on each further platform you activate.

• How do I get a new password?

• If you forgot your password, please use the "Forgot your password?" link in the log in section of the home page. Click the 'log in'-button to access the function.

• How do I change my password or user name?

Log in with your present password. Access "Settings" and select the tab "Login data" to set a new password. In this section, you can change your user name, too. The user name has to be a valid e-mail adress.

• Can I use all projektwerk platforms with my registration?

Yes, your log in data are valid for all projektwerk platforms. If you wish to use several projektwerk platforms, the desired platforms will be activated with your registration. If you book the starter or premium membership for several industries, you will receive 50% booking discount on the 2. platform and 75% discount on each further platform. For more information, please view “Membership & Prices”.

• How much will it cost me to use projektwerk?

The registration with the basic membership on projektwerk is free and enables you to access all basic functions. To use the full projektwerk functionality, you will need the premium membership. The premium membership is available starting at 25 € per month. The starter membership offers you limited functionality starting at 8 € per month. The monthly membership fee guarantees cost control since no further costs are incurred. projektwerk does not charge commission. For more information please view “Membership & Prices”.

• Where can I access my invoices?

You can view your invoices in your "Settings" under the menu item "Membership & billing".

• How do I change my billing address?

In order to change your billing address, go to "Settings" and click "Membership & billing". Changes are taken into account with the following invoice. If you wish to modify existing invoices for changes please feel free to contact us.

• How do I cancel my starter or premium membership?

Starter or premium memberships may be cancelled with a written notice by email or postal mail in due time, one month prior to the end of a billing cycle. For the short term memberships of 1 month the notice period is 14 days. Starter or premium members with multiple platform accounts may cancel the platforms they do no longer wish to use separately. Please include in your cancellation your account's email address or an invoice number and if you wish, the reason for the termination of your membership on projektwerk.

• How do I delete my account?

Simply send us an email and we will process the deletion of your account.

The matching technology

• What is projektwerk's matching service? How does the matching of projects, jobs and profiles work?

The projektwerk matching service automatically finds matching project and job offers or expert profiles - during the data entry and in real time. An accurate matching rate between project, job and profile using the entered requirements, skills, title and description is being calculated.

• Where do I find the search option?

On “All projects & jobs"you can take a look at published projects and jobs. On “All profiles", you will find all published freelancer profiles and profiles of experts looking for a permanent position. In addition, you can search for keywords.

The projektwerk matching service replaces the traditional search function. The search for suitable projects, jobs or profiles is completed via the automated matching and is based on the information provided in your project or profile. After editing, suitable profiles or projects and jobs will be displayed to you. Likewise, your published project, job or profile will be displayed in suitable experts´ or project and job providers´ matching results.

• What are the keywords in projects, jobs and profiles being used for and why are they so important?

In order to obtain the best matching results for projects, jobs and profiles, you should enter project requirements or your skills with appropriate keywords. The entered keywords influence the ranking of your project, job or profile and allow tailor-made matching.

•        How can I see the most recent projects, jobs or profiles?

You can see all published profiles, projects and jobs on the "All profiles" and "All projects" sites. You have the opportunity to subscribe to an RSS feed on the homepage of your chosen projektwerk platform. The feed reader informs you about the latest projects, jobs and profiles.

       Once logged in, you can filter the matching results on the “All projects & jobs” and “All profiles” sites by date.

• Is there a location based matching option? Can I filter my results regarding the location?

Yes, you can limit your matching results according to location. Enter the location in your profile, project or job before setting the desired distance to your location with the slider.

• How can I use projektwerk as a project provider? How do I find a suitable freelancer?

Once you have become a member on projektwerk for free you can access the matching service to effectively and efficiently staff your projects. Publish your project or job and immediately get direct access to a list of matching freelancer profiles. Look through your matches for suitable experts. Likewise, your project or job will be displayed in the matching results of suitable freelancers who can directly contact you as soon as you have become a starter or premium member.

• What are my benefits as a starter member?

As a starter member, you can access more services than a basic member: You can contact up to three suitable candidates per month, starting at 8 € per month. Additional benefits of the starter membership you can find here.

• What are my benefits as a premium member?

As a premium member, you benefit from the full projektwerk functionality. You can directly contact an unlimited number of interesting specialists and executives. Additional benefits of the premium membership you can find here.

• How do I create a project or job offer?

• How many projects and jobs can I publish?

As a basic and starter member you can publish one project or job offer. As a premium member you can publish an unlimited number of project and job offers.

• Is there a language preference when creating my project or job offer?

Projects, job offers and profiles that are written in the same language produce better matching results. If your project, job offer or profile mainly contains English keywords and descriptions, the matching results will primarily be in English.

• How can I get in contact with interesting projektwerk members?

As a starter or premium member you have the opportunity to contact other users actively. All users can add their preferred communication channels (e.g. email, phone) to their contact details. Contact information is accessible to starter and premium members exclusively.

• Can I upload documents as attachments?

Yes, when you create your project or job offer, you can upload documents. You can also add documents to existing postings by clicking on "edit".

• Can I upload a picture?

A picture or logo is essential for the favourable appearance of your project. In your account settings, you can upload an image which is then displayed in all your projects or job offers. You can also add an image for each individual posting.

• How can I use projektwerk as a specialist? How can I market my skills and professional competences?

• As a professional, you promote yourself with a profile exhibiting your specific skills and experiences. After you have published your profile, it will be displayed in the matching results of corresponding project and job providers. Look through your matches for suitable projects and jobs. Interested providers can contact you directly, if you are a starter or premium member. If you wish to actively contact project and job providers and benefit from the extensive projektwerk functionality, become a starter or premium member now.

• How do I find the right project and job?

Just sign up on projektwerk.com, create your profile and use our matching service to find fitting projects and jobs. After you have created your profile, an overview of suitable projects and jobs will be displayed to you immediately. Look through your results for the best project and job matches. To contact providers directly and benefit from the full functionality of projektwerk, simply become a premium member now.

• How do I create a profile?

• How many profiles can I publish?

As a basic or starter member, you can publish one profile. Premium members can publish an unlimited amount of profiles.

• Is there a language preference for profiles?

Projects, jobs and profiles that are written in the same language produce better matching results. If your profile mainly contains English keywords and descriptions, the matching results will primarily be English.

• How can I get in contact with a project or job provider?

As a starter or premium member, you can contact other users actively. All members can specify their preferred communication channels (e.g. email, phone) in their contact details. However, the contact information is exclusively accessible to starter and premium members.

• Can I upload documents as attachments?

Yes, when you create your profile, you can upload documents. You can also upload documents to existing profiles by clicking "edit".

• Where can I upload an image?

A picture is essential for the favourable appearance of your profile. In your account settings, you can upload an image which is then displayed in all your profiles. You can also add separate pictures for each individual profile in order to create separate profiles for individual coworkers.
