Mit dieser Frage beschäftigt sich der aktuelle Marktmonitor von projektwerk IT. Erstmals seit dem erfolgreichen Launch der spezialisierten Branchen-Plattformen analysiert der Marktmonitor ausschließlich die Zahlen der IT-Plattform. Nicht nur bei der Zahl der Projekte des vergangenen Jahres, sondern auch bei der aktuellen Häufigkeit der Keywords in Projekten führt SAP das Ranking an, gefolgt von Java/JEE und SQL. Es zeigt sich, dass besonders Freelancer mit diesen Skills nach wie vor sehr gefragt sind.

Doch auf welche übergreifenden Trends können sich IT-Freelancer für das Jahr 2011 einstellen? Ganz vorne liegt das Thema Cloud Computing. Laut einer BITKOM-Umfrage ist Cloud Computing für 62% der befragten Unternehmen dieses Jahr ein wichtiges Thema, obwohl es in vielen Unternehmen noch nicht Teil der konkreten Planung sei. Dieser Trend ermöglicht es den Unternehmen, durch externe Betreuung Kosten zu sparen. Gleichzeitig verlangt die Umstellung auf Cloud Computing nach Investitionen. Auch das Thema Mobile gewinnt weiter an Bedeutung, der Siegeszug von iPhones, WebPads und Androids macht sich hier deutlich bemerkbar.

Weitere wichtige Trends sind Business-Intelligence-Anwendungen sowie das Customer Relations Management. Diese beiden Themen zählen nicht zu den Kernfunktionen von Unternehmen und gehörten so zu den Bereichen, in denen während der Wirtschaftskrise Kosten eingespart wurden. Mit der Erholung der Wirtschaft rücken sie jedoch wieder verstärkt in den Vordergrund.

Ganz oben im Ranking finden sich die Human-Resources-Themen Training, Personal-Entwicklung und –Coaching und der Bereich Prozess- und Vertriebsoptimierung sowie Strategieberatung. Einen weiteren großen Teil nehmen mit jeweils über 100 Nennungen die Managementbegriffe Change-, Qualität- und Interims-Management ein.

„Nach der Wirtschaftskrise sind wir 2010 in eine branchenübergreifende Konsolidierungsphase eingetreten, die sich 2011 fortsetzt. Jetzt wird verstärkt daran gearbeitet, Prozesse zu optimieren. Fünf Monate nach dem erfolgreichen Launch der spezialisierten Branchen-Plattformen startet projektwerk die statistische Auswertung der geforderten und angebotenen Skills auf der Projektbörse engineering.projektwerk.de. In dieser Zeit haben sich bereits über 1000 Mitglieder neu registriert, knapp 700 Projekte wurden veröffentlicht. Die Auswertung zeigt, dass Skills aus dem Bereich „Konstruktion“ auf dem Spitzenplatz liegen. Hierzu zählen Kenntnisse in CAD, CATIA (in unterschiedlichen Versionen) oder 2D/3D. Dahinter folgen die Anforderungen im „Anlagen- und Maschinenbau“ und „Technik“ mit jeweils über 300 Treffern in Projekten und Freelancer-Profilen. Auch die Bereiche „Automotive“ und „Mechatronik“ finden sich unter den Top 5 Keywords.

Besonders der Bereich Anlagen- und Maschinenbau verzeichnete im vergangenen Jahr ein deutliches Wachstum, und auch für das laufende Jahr rechnet der Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V. mit der Fortsetzung dieses Trends. „Für das laufende Jahr 2011 gehen wir von einer Fortsetzung des Aufschwungs aus. Wir rechnen mit einem realen Wachstum der deutschen Maschinenproduktion in der Größenordnung von zehn Prozent“, erklärte VDMA-Präsident Dr. Thomas Lindner anlässlich der VDMA-Jahrespressekonferenz Anfang Februar.

It was about time: Many of our users have been waiting for a feature to limit their matching results to a city or region.

Yesterday we finally released the location based matching, so that from now on you will be able to view only those matching results that are in a certain radius from your desired location.

It is as easy as this:

Simply add the location where you would preferably work to your expert profile – respectively add the city or region where your project is located.

Right above your matching results you will find not only the time slider – but also the new slider to regulate the distance to the location stated in your profile/project. Simply set this slider to the desired distance: e.g. should your next project be located right in the city you are living in or can it be about 100 km around this place?

Furthermore, we changed the daily matching notification: It now includes the location of the project or profile. Also we implemented direct links to your matching profiles or projects listed in the mail.

Why not try the location based matching right away?!

Over the last weeks we received a lot of feedback regarding the projektwerk relaunch and put effort in implementing most of it:

We have been releasing a couple of adjusted versions in which minor bugs were solved, the matching technology was further refined and – since monday – the transparency was improved.

Further information about all our releases can be found in our changelog.

Mondays’ release aimed at making the matching more transparent and understandable for you: keywords responsible for the match will be highlighted and you can see all congruencies between your and the others profile or project at a glance.

Also the navigation bar was redesigned: In the top right corner you will find your name. From there you can access your personal information, your bills and your account settings. You can also log out here.

Furthermore new RSS feeds are available: One for all new projects and a separate one for all new profiles. You will find these RSS feeds in the footer.

The industry dropdown menu gives you an overview of all available industries on projektwerk.

A single click will take you to the desired homepage: projektwerk IT, consulting, creative, engineering or fashion.

2. The “try me”

The “try me” button allows you to briefly test the new matching service. You simply choose whether you ARE a Freelancer or you NEED a freelancer and type in up to three keywords. Based on your entered data, our matching technology will generate your best fitting project partners. You will directly see the total of your matches.

Once you create a free basic account these matches will be displayed in an overview.

3. The latest projects and profiles

On our newly designed homepage you will also find an overview of the five most recent projects and profiles that have been published.

To stay informed about all new projects and profiles simply subscribe to the RSS Feed.

4. projektwerk in three steps

Under the header “This is what projektwerk has in store for you” you will get to know all about projektwerk and our value proposition.
