
I am very pleased to have been invited to present the Good School on the projektwerk blog by Christiane Strasse.
Here we go:
The Good School is a school for digital marketing and communications in Hamburg. We create programs for everyone who have to know more about the internet – be it the executive, the marketing strategist, the media maker or the creatives. Meanwhile, we have launched six programs and have ideas for at least ten more.
For example, we offer the Camp Digital for the third time in May 2011, which is a 7 days powertraining for executives. In November, the evening classes that accompany the job and are being taken by art directors, media planners, consultants and copywriters, take place. Another example would be the digital days of school for advertisers where we expect – as the name suggests – advertisers from the senior levels of advertising agencies and marketing departments.
Our subjects, among others: Media change, social media, word-of-mouth, viral communication, performance marketing, mobile marketing, digital and integrated strategy and brand management. Our teachers: Pioneers and personalities from the digital world who fill buzzwords and dry theory with life. The teaching format includes blind dates, bus tours and the walk in the park to the Future Exhibition. Our goal: The lessons are hands-on, exercises are based on real briefings and/or work situations, the theoretical part is entertaining. And last but absolutely not least: Our classroom is a special place (no matter where we are), the supporting programme is fun (you can even win something) and the food is good.
